The Ayurvedic treatment for diabetic neuropathy revolves around restoring the dosha balance, managing the symptoms and preventing them from getting worse by keeping the blood sugar levels under check. Treatment for diabetic neuropathy generally depends on the type of symptoms and the type of neuropathy.
In general, treatment focuses on reducing current symptoms and preventing the condition from getting worse by keeping blood sugar level within a narrow target range. With internal medications, effective external therapies like Abhyangam,karaskara Ksheeradhara, Dhanyamladhara, Pizhichil, Njavarakizhi and Thakradhara are recommended for Diabetic Neuropathy condition.
