Panchakarma

Panchakarma is the essence of ayurvedic treatment. This treatment demonstrates promising results even in incurable diseases. Through a series of systematic treatment regimens, we purify the body and help the patients regain the normal rhythm of life. Our experts plan each module of panchakarma treatment to work on the whole body. Emesis, Oil Enema, Medicinal Enema and Nasal Sinus Cleansing are the fivefold procedures known as Panchakarma.

During consultation, we arrive at the ideal program for each patient after an in-depth study of the patient’s physical health and medical history. Our experts then develop an individualised module consisting of therapeutic massage, dietary counselling and body detoxification or rejuvenating treatment. The average modules last between 7 and 28 days.

Our experienced masseurs or masseuses deliver all treatments under the supervision of professional Ayurvedic physicians.

Swedanam-medicated Steam Bath

Swedanam, a traditional ayurveda treatment, involves a medicated steam bath to detoxify the body. Different combinations of herbs are boiled in water, producing steam that opens pores and mobilizes accumulated ama (toxins) in the srotas (body channels). This process helps flush out toxins from the body. Swedanam also improves circulation, relieves muscle tension, and balances the doshas, making it ideal for treating conditions like joint pain and stiffness. By detoxifying and rejuvenating the body, Swedanam supports holistic well-being and restores balance in line with ayurvedic healing principles.

Abhyangam

Abhyangam is an ancient ayurvedic treatment that involves a unique full-body oil massage to restore energy balance and rejuvenate the body. We select warm, herbal oils based on the individual doshas. Our masseurs use rhythmic massage techniques to improve circulation, nourish the skin, and help eliminate toxins. This gentle massage stimulates the body’s natural energy flow, promoting relaxation and revitalization. Beyond its physical benefits, Abhyangam supports emotional and mental well-being, creating harmony between mind, body, and spirit. This holistic treatment is a powerful way to restore balance and enhance overall health, aligned with ayurvedic principles.

Snehadhara

Snehadhara, a soothing ayurvedic treatment, is aptly called the “Stream of Love.” This therapy involves pouring warm, medicated oil in a rhythmic flow over the entire body, followed by a gentle massage. This treatment nourishes the tissues deeply, improves blood circulation, and promotes relaxation. Snehadhara is particularly beneficial for those suffering from diabetic neuropathy, poor blood circulation, stroke recovery, and spinal disorders. By harmonizing the mind and body, this ayurvedic therapy helps to rejuvenate and restore health, offering a powerful way to support healing through natural, holistic care.

Shirodhara

Shirodhara is a powerful ayurveda treatment designed uniquely for ailments of the brain. As the Vedas prescribe, we perform this therapeutic process by steadily pouring warm, medicated oil (dhara) onto crucial points on the forehead. Shirodhara provides a deeply soothing and cooling effect, calming the mind and nourishing the nervous system. This treatment is suitable for those dealing with stress, anxiety, and insomnia, offering natural relief from mental fatigue. This treatment promotes deep relaxation, balances the body’s energies and restores wholesome health.

Njavara Kizhi

Njavara Kizhi, also known as Shashtika Shali Pinda Sweda, is an Ayurvedic treatment that uses Njavara, a special medicinal rice which is cooked with a herbal decoction and milk. We tie the cooked rice into boluses made of cotton cloth, which we use to massage the body after applying medicated oil. The massage helps induce sweating, rejuvenates tissues, and strengthens muscles. It’s especially effective in treating arthritis, muscle weakness, spine-related issues, and neuromuscular disorders such as sciatica and fibromyalgia.

The therapeutic benefits of Njavara Kizhi lie in its ability to improve circulation, alleviate pain, and promote tissue regeneration. Njavara is known for its high medicinal value. It is rich in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds that are beneficial for treating physical and neurological conditions.

This treatment is highly valued in ayurveda for its rejuvenating properties. It is often combined with other treatments like Abhyanga (herbal oil massage) for enhanced results.
